Our Body Fluid Spill Kit is designed for clearing up smaller spills of bodily fluids quickly and safely.

Contents:

– 1 x waste container
– 1 x disposable apron
– 2 x pair nitrile gloves
– 1 x eye shield
– 1 x 1.5 litre blue and white T-mop
– 2 x absorbent grey pad
– 1 x disinfectant 60ml
– 1 x plastic scoop and scraper
– 1 x FFP3 face piece
– 1 x sachet of Sodium Polyacrylate

For spillages of up to 5 litres.

How to use or Body Fluid Spill Kit

Cleaning up:

  • Remove all contents from the container.
  • Put on the glasses. Both pairs of gloves, plastic apron and face piece.
  • Use blue and white T-mop to soak up spill (1.5 litres) or use 1 grey pad.
  • For larger pools of blood, sprinkle on the powder in the sachet to solidify the spill.
  • Use the scoop and scraper to remove any solids.
  • Place the used blue and white T-mop, grey pad (if used) and scoop and scraper into waste container.
  • Decontaminate affected area with disinfectant and leave for minimum of 2 minutes.
  • Wipe down area with grey pad to soak up disinfectant.

Disposal:

  • Place the contained grey pad into the waste container.
  • Remove apron, gloves and glasses, face piece and dispose of in waste container.
  • Seal waste container as per instructions on top of container.
  • Dispose of appropriately.

Returns & Refunds

Changed your mind? Ordered too much?

Have you ordered too much? Simply don’t want to keep the product or have changed your mind? That’s not a problem at all.

If you would like to return any unused, undamaged and unopened products to us, we are happy for you to do so. Any carriage that you paid will not be refunded unless the items are damaged/faulty.

For the returns, we recommend that you get in touch, so that we can help you arrange getting the products back to us. Please notify us of returns as soon as possible by email at info@cairntechnology.com or call us on 0333 015 4345.

We will provide you with the correct address for where to send the goods, and once we have received them we will process your refund.

Returned items which are not in new or unused condition may not be fully credited to your account, unless they are faulty or damaged.

Please note: You must notify us that you wish to return undamaged, unwanted or over-ordered goods within 14 days of receiving them. Unfortunately, we cannot accept a return outside of this timeframe.
If you notify us of the return before delivery has taken place, you will be liable for a full refund. If the goods have been delivered, you will not receive a refund on the carriage paid.

Damaged Goods

If any of the goods that you have received are damaged, we will be happy to exchange them for new one.

Alternatively, if you would prefer a full refund instead, we can also arrange for this for you.

For either an exchange or a full refund, we will be in touch to arrange collection of the goods and if applicable when the replacement products will be delivered, following your initial contact with us.

There will be no additional cost to yourself for either carriage or returning the goods.

If the goods are damaged upon receipt, we strongly advise you to reject the delivery. If it is a limited amount of damage on a larger order, please note this with the courier upon accepting the delivery and we will arrange for the damaged unit(s) to be replaced.

Please note: You must notify us that you wish to return damaged or goods of unsatisfactory quality within 30 days of receiving them. Unfortunately, we cannot accept a return outside of this timeframe.

Our delivery rates are calculated on a package weight basis, please see these detailed below.

20kg – 30kg £15.00 3 to 5 working days

Items are dispatched the same day if ordered before 1pm Mon – Fri. Orders placed over the weekend will be dispatched the following working day.
