T-Mat Absorbent Floor Mat (Case of 100)

Available exclusively from Cairn Technology, the T-Mat is the most absorbent floor mat on the market for operating theatres.

Fifteen times more absorbent than an inco pad, it absorbs up to 8.5 litres of water or 3.5 litres of saline.

Within minutes it gels liquids and becomes dry to the touch, binding the fluid hygienically, for easy non-drip disposal in clinical waste.

By promoting a cleaner surgical environment this reduces the risk of cross-infection and avoids spillages that could lead to slips and falls.

Ideal for any procedure which generates a large amount of fluid, the T-Mat continues to be in demand from a range of disciplines including maternity, neurosurgery, burns and plastics.

Want to try before you buy?

We honestly believe that you will find our T-Mats much more user-friendly that ploughing through endless inco pads, which in turn creates so much waste.

What’s more, our T-Mats avoid the need for noisy suction devices and fluid extraction products that act as trip hazards as staff move around the operating theatre​.

That said, we realise that if you are going to be convinced by the T-Mat you will want to trial it for yourself to compare cost and performance with the product you currently use.

Returns & Refunds

Changed your mind? Ordered too much?

Have you ordered too much? Simply don’t want to keep the product or have changed your mind? That’s not a problem at all.

If you would like to return any unused, undamaged and unopened products to us, we are happy for you to do so. Any carriage that you paid will not be refunded unless the items are damaged/faulty.

For the returns, we recommend that you get in touch, so that we can help you arrange getting the products back to us. Please notify us of returns as soon as possible by email at info@cairntechnology.com or call us on 0333 015 4345.

We will provide you with the correct address for where to send the goods, and once we have received them we will process your refund.

Returned items which are not in new or unused condition may not be fully credited to your account, unless they are faulty or damaged.

Please note: You must notify us that you wish to return undamaged, unwanted or over-ordered goods within 14 days of receiving them. Unfortunately, we cannot accept a return outside of this timeframe.
If you notify us of the return before delivery has taken place, you will be liable for a full refund. If the goods have been delivered, you will not receive a refund on the carriage paid.

Damaged Goods

If any of the goods that you have received are damaged, we will be happy to exchange them for new one.

Alternatively, if you would prefer a full refund instead, we can also arrange for this for you.

For either an exchange or a full refund, we will be in touch to arrange collection of the goods and if applicable when the replacement products will be delivered, following your initial contact with us.

There will be no additional cost to yourself for either carriage or returning the goods.

If the goods are damaged upon receipt, we strongly advise you to reject the delivery. If it is a limited amount of damage on a larger order, please note this with the courier upon accepting the delivery and we will arrange for the damaged unit(s) to be replaced.

Please note: You must notify us that you wish to return damaged or goods of unsatisfactory quality within 30 days of receiving them. Unfortunately, we cannot accept a return outside of this timeframe.

Our delivery rates are calculated on a package weight basis, please see these detailed below.

20kg – 30kg £15.00 3 to 5 working days

Items are dispatched the same day if ordered before 1pm Mon – Fri. Orders placed over the weekend will be dispatched the following working day.
