Achieving the Strategy Plan Through Professional Excellence
Government Head of Property Profession, Dr Janet Young, will discuss how property professionals can effectively deliver the government’s 8-year strategy plan to achieve a “smaller, better and greener estate”. She’ll focus on skills and professional development within property teams while explaining how intelligent data analysis can underpin strategic property decisions.

A panel discussion involving DWP Director of Estates, Craig Varian, Tim Warneford of Warneford Consulting, and Angela Harrowing, the Deputy Director of Property Programmes at the Cabinet Office.
The panel will discuss how to improve energy efficiency while managing maintenance costs, as well as how maintenance backlogs must be addressed to improve efficiency, productivity and safety.
